ABSTRACT

A valve body for a diaphragm valve having a valve seat is disclosed, wherein
at least two walls of the valve body converge on one another towards the valve
seat, wherein the at least two walls at least partly delimit a common dry
space, and wherein at least one of the walls comprises a recess which is
closed fluid-tightly by a sensor device for providing at least one sensor
signal.
