ABSTRACT

A device for controlling movement of a load. The device includes a first
conduit, designed to be connected to a first chamber of a hydraulic actuator,
a second conduit designed to be connected to a second chamber of the hydraulic
actuator, a first balancing valve, positioned along the first conduit, which
is normally closed and is actuated towards an open position by the pressure
present in the second conduit, a second balancing valve, positioned along the
second conduit, which is normally closed and is controlled towards an open
position by the pressure present in the first conduit, and a third balancing
valve, positioned along the first conduit, which is normally closed and is
actuated towards an open position by the pressure present in the second
conduit.
