ABSTRACT

A method for spot welding includes applying preset welding heat input to a
welding device in correspondence to a welding base material positioned at the
welding device by a controller, applying the preset welding heat input to the
welding position by moving the welding device by the controller, measuring
height variation of the applied welding position through an encoder, and
providing target heat input by compensation for a current value that is
applied to the welding position by comparing real-time height variation of the
welding position measured through the encoder and a gradient set in the
controller.
