ABSTRACT

A method for processing workpieces, in particular by painting, using a robot
to simplify planning of the robot path or to make it fully automatic. The
method can be used individually and together particularly advantageously. For
example, not only can a painting strategy developed on at least one sample
workpiece be transferred in a specifically adapted form to a large number of
workpieces or workpiece sections of the same shape without having to position
the workpieces exactly the same, but also deviations in the assembly of
individual workpiece sections can be compensated.
