ABSTRACT

The present invention relates to an installation tool ( 200 ) for installing a
fastener ( 12 ) in a structure ( 14 ), comprising: a tool housing ( 202 ); a
first sheath ( 206 ), positioned along a first axis ( 102 ) and movable
relative to the tool housing; a second sheath ( 208 ), configured to drive the
first sheath in translation relative to the tool housing; a first rotary shaft
( 210 ); and a first ( 212 ) and a second ( 214 ) transmission device, able to
drive the first ( 206 ) and second ( 208 ) sheaths respectively in rotation
under the effect of rotations of the first rotary shaft. The tool comprises a
tube ( 204 ), each of the first and second sheaths being positioned around the
tube; and the first rotary shaft extends along a second axis ( 240 ), the
first and second axes being separated by a first non-zero distance ( 242 ).
