# Multiple Fastener Extractor

## Abstract

A fastener extractor 1 for extracting multiple fasteners 3 distributed over a length of material 2. The fastener extractor includes a clamp 5, actuators 8a, 8b and separators. The separators include material-engaging portions 11a, 11b, and separator drives 10a, 10b. The clamp 5 has a clamping members 6a, 6b with a pair of fastener-engaging surfaces 7a 7b. The clamping members 6a, 6b are relatively movable between an open position, and a clamping position for applying a clamping force F to the fasteners 3. The powered actuator 8a, 8b is operable to reciprocate the clamping members 6a, 6b between the open position and the clamping position to clamp the fasteners. The separators are operable to move the material 2 away from the clamp 5 to extract the fasteners 3 from the material 2.
