ABSTRACT

The present disclosure relates to a method for determining a position and/or
movement of a rope, in particular of a machine, and/or of a load arranged on
the rope, comprising the steps of: determining measurement points by a sensor
unit; assigning the measurement points to the rope and/or to the load arranged
on the rope; determining the position and/or movement of the rope and/or of
the load attached to the rope.
