End bell for belt conveyor idler assembly

ABSTRACT

An end bell includes a housing. The housing includes a bearing seat for a
bearing positioned within an inner portion of the housing and includes a
grounding groove for a grounding wire positioned along an outer portion of the
housing. A method for attaching an end bell to a belt conveyor idler includes
inserting a grounding wire into a grounding groove of the end bell, inserting
a bearing into the bearing seat, and inserting the end bell into a belt
conveyor idler assembly via press fit. The end bell is made of nonconductive
material.
