ABSTRACT

Provided is an apparatus (100) for determining a target rotational speed for a
rotary drive (130) driving a displacement pump (125) of a hydraulic system of
a lifting equipment (120). The apparatus (100) includes processing circuitry
(110) configured to receive input data (101) indicating at least one pressure
measurement in the hydraulic system. The processing circuitry (110) is further
configured to determine the target rotational speed for the rotary drive (130)
based on a first value and a second value. The first value represents a
pressure difference between a load pressure in the hydraulic system and a pump
pressure of the displacement pump. The first value is based on the input data
(101). The second value is a target value for the pressure difference. In
addition, the processing circuitry (110) is configured to output control data
(105) indicating the determined target rotational speed.
