ABSTRACT

A tool, such as a pry bar including a textured tip is shown. In one
embodiment, the textured tip includes a plurality of projections and a
plurality of grooves. Various textured tip embodiments are configured to
increase friction/gripping with a workpiece, thereby increasing a pry force
applied to the workpiece before the pry bar slips and/or loses contact with
the workpiece.
