ABSTRACT

A transport system includes a robot control unit. The robot control unit
operates a robot to detect positions of three portions of a pallet stocker
distant from one another and generates a user coordinate system in the pallet
stocker based on the detected positions. The robot control unit operates the
robot to detect a position of a specific portion of a shelf plate and
calculates a position of a grip portion of the pallet in the user coordinate
system based on the detected position and a positional relationship between
the specific portion and the grip portion with the pallet being placed on the
shelf plate.
