# Security fencing assembly and fastener

## Abstract

A security fencing assembly (100) comprising: a pair of spaced ground engaging posts (102); a plurality of elongate members (106) located between the ground engaging posts (102) to collectively provide a barrier (1); and a plurality of fasteners (300) to secure the barrier (1) between the ground engaging posts (102), wherein each fastener (300) comprises a threaded shaft (416) engageable with a respective mating threaded component (500), and wherein the threaded shaft (416) comprises a metal portion (402) and a polymer patch portion (404) both located to be in simultaneous threaded contact with the mating threaded component (500).
