# Cask handling device and system

## Abstract

A cask handling device 10 suitable for carrying a cask 1, possibly as it moved around a warehouse. Device 10 comprises frame 20 with a base 30 and upright members 10, 40. Frame 20 defines a volume 22 for removable receipt of cask 1. Rotational supports 50 enable cask 1 to rotate about axis R when loaded in to frame 20. A cask loading and unloading system, and associated methods, are also disclosed, comprising pivot mechanism moveable between positions to allow the frame to open/close and cask 1 to be inserted or removed (Figs 9a-c).
