# An automated cask management and warehousing system

## Abstract

An automated cask management and warehousing system 100 for moving casks 8 (and 1, Fig 1) removably 5 retained in a cask handling device 10, 50 and undertaking one or more automated actions on the cask is described as well as a building 101 comprising the system. System 100 has a controller 112, a plurality of cask handling devices removably retaining a cask, at least one materials handling device 116, 120 configured to move the cask handling devices and a plurality of automated cask processing stations 150. The materials handling device and at least one automated cask processing station 10 are controlled by controller 112.
