ABSTRACT

A robot includes a mount fixed to an installation surface, a base connected to
the mount to be rotatable about a first axis, a first arm connected to the
base to be rotatable about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis, and
a second arm connected to the first arm to be rotatable about a third axis
parallel to the second axis. An offset length in a direction perpendicular to
the first axis between the first axis and the second axis is equal to or
greater than one third of an offset length between the second axis and the
third axis.
