ABSTRACT

Submersible turbine pump lid lifting aid Steel collapsible crane-type
mechanical lifting aid, comprised of a winch, swing-away boom, and
interchangeable adaptors for different styles of lids (used primarily to open
STP lids on service station forecourts). Manual (not electric), hand operated,
simple to assemble/disassemble in seconds, compact to stow, collapsible, and
lightweight. Connects to any standard 50mm vehicle towbar for ease of use,
eliminating physical exertion in awkward or unsafe lifts. Adaptable to a wide
range of different uses, this lifting aid is a revolutionary new design in
technology, improving the safety for workers within the petroleum and many
other industries.
