# Connection device for connecting jib segments of a jib of a tower crane

## Abstract

The invention relates to a connection device, in particular for connecting jib segments (1) of a jib of a tower crane, comprising: - at least one connection bolt (6) with a first securing part (9, 10, 63, 64) for securing to a first pressure plate (5, 5a, 5b, 5c) of a first jib segment (1) and with a second securing part (61, 62) for securing to a second pressure plate (5, 5a, 5b, 5c) of a second jib segment (1), wherein the first securing part (9, 10, 63, 64) is provided with a releasable non-rotating connection device for securing to the first pressure plate (5, 5a, 5b, 5c), and the second securing part (61, 62) is provided with a centering pin for securing to the second pressure plate (5, 5a, 5b, 5c), said centering pin having a securing groove (69), in particular a continuous securing groove, for receiving a radial plug-in wedge (8); and - a centering sleeve (7) for inserting into a corresponding through-opening in the second pressure plate (5, 5a, 5b, 5c), said through-opening having an inner cross-section in order to receive the second securing part (61, 62) in a form-fitting manner.
