"abstract": "An end effector for magnetic end-of-arm tooling for ferrous workpieces is described. The tool comprises a tool-change interface (10), a magnet assembly (12), a plant vacuum connection (14), a contact detector (16). The arrangement addresses handling ferrous workpieces without a vacuum circuit at all, where a vacuum tool on an oily, perforated or rough steel part spends its whole air budget on leaks. The description covers what generates the holding force, what switches it, and how the workpiece is released. Every connection is stated with the medium it carries, and the operating sequence is given as conditions on named operations.",
