Abstract

The invention relates to a rod connector device (1) for variable connection at a stable angle of a first rod and a second rod of a linkage. The invention further relates to a method for holding a terminal on a wheelchair. The rod connector device (1) has an 5 arresting unit (90) for finding a settable intended angular setting again. The rod connector device (1) further comprises: - a first receiving unit (10), the first receiving unit (10) having a first rod receptacle (11) for the first rod, - a second receiving unit (20), the second receiving unit (20) having a 10 second rod receptacle (21) for the second rod, wherein the first receiving unit (10) and the second receiving unit (20) are coupled to one another and can be transferred from a loose position into a clamping position, wherein the receiving units (10, 20) are rotatable in relation to one another about an axis of rotation (A1) in the loose position in order to vary an angle of the receiving 15 units (10, 20) in relation to one another, wherein, in the clamped position, the receiving units (10, 20) are fixed in place without the ability to rotate.
