Abstract

A one-piece mount for mounting a cable tie to a mounting surface comprises a head section defining a strap receiving channel. A pair of laterally spaced legs extend from the head to a distal end of the mount. A pair of locating arms associated respectively with the pair of legs extending laterally from a side of each respective leg. Each leg includes a retaining spring tab extending outwardly an upwardly from the leg. The spring tabs are movable towards the leg from an expanded configuration to a compressed configuration, to allow the legs to be inserted through a mounting aperture in a mounting surface. The spring tabs and the arms are spaced along the legs. The arms are located between the spring tabs and the head, and engage and locate against the outside of a mounting surface. The spring tabs engage an underside of the mounting surface in the expanded configuration to prevent removal of the mount from the mounting aperture.
