Abstract

A device 10 for fixing an enclosure (figure 3, 12) to a wall, and in particular a device 10 for fixing an enclosure (figure 3, 12) at a distance away from the wall. The device 10 comprises a support member 14 having a first aperture 35 located adjacent a first end 22, and a second aperture 36 located adjacent a second end 24. A first fastener 16 is provided for fixing the first end 22 to the enclosure (figure 3, 12) through said first aperture 35. When the support member 14 is fixed to the enclosure (figure 3, 12), the second end 24 extends beyond an edge of the enclosure (figure 3, 12). A spacer 18 is provided and comprises a third aperture (figure 2, 50) and is removably attached to the second end 24 of the support member 14 such that the second aperture 36 and the third aperture (figure 2, 50) align. A second fastener is provided for fixing the second end 24 to the wall such that the second fastener extends through the second aperture 36.
