Abstract
A hand tool 10 has a handle 12; and a reversible tool holder assembly 14 including a reversible adapter barrel 38, first and second tool holders 40, 42, and first and second reversible bit holders 44, 46, and may include four tool bits. At least one of the bits 48A, 48B, 48C may be reversible, and one non-reversible 50. Each tool holder can be used as a nut driver or separately in a power impact driver chuck (e.g. as a bit or nut driver). Each nut driver may be differently sized. The adapter barrel, tool holders, and bit holders can each have a detent mechanism (e.g. spring-loaded ball) 64, 112, 124, 127 (also e.g. spring-loaded pin 88, 90, 92, 94, Fig. 7) to resist removal from the handle. The bit holders can include a magnet 110. The handle may include an insert 26 for coupling the adapter barrel with the handle.
