Abstract

Provided are a method, apparatus, device and medium for executing a user task. In a method, a user task is received from a user, and the user task instructs a robot device to obtain a first object. The first object is positioned in a physical space where the robot device is located based on a first image of the physical space. The robot device moves to a position of the first object to obtain a second image of the first object. In response to determining, based on the second image, that the first object cannot be obtained, the robot device operates the second object to obtain the first object. By means of the exemplary implementation of the disclosure, a robot device can execute a user task in a complex physical space, so that the flexibility and accuracy of performing a task by the robot device in a complex environment can be improved, thereby completing an expected user task.
