Abstract

A method (300) and a system (100) for determining a state of a roller-conveyor system (101), are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving images corresponding to a roller-mount (101A, 101B, 101C, 101D, ..., 101N) of the roller-conveyor system (101); selecting an image depicting at least one roller (200) mounted on the roller-mount in the image; identifying the roller (200) in the selected image and annotating the at least one roller (200) to determine a size and an orientation of the at least one roller (200); determining a deviation in the at least one of the size and the orientation of the at least one roller (200) with respect to a preset size and a preset orientation, respectively, in a trained machine learning model; and identifying misalignment of the at least one roller (200) based on the deviation.
